What We’re Wearing

Summer Weddings

A casual summer wedding is supposed to be fun, not stressful, right? But that doesn't mean you won't be hit with that dreaded thought: Damn, what am I gonna wear? Even if you aren't an actual invited guest—perhaps just somebody's plus-one—you'll want to look your best and feel good. Thankfully, this is the easiest kind of wedding to pull a look together for. Our fool-proof suggestion for a comfortable, breathable suit made from Italian seersucker (in an unconventional green color) and a washed shirt will ensure you're among the best-dressed dudes at every reception this wedding season. Finish things off with a textural silk tie and ground things with a chunkier slip-on shoe. Now's the time to embrace a laidback yet sophisticated swagger. Here's what we're pulling on before heading onto the dance floor.

Making the Case for …

Niacinamide Serum

I just finished my first bottle of this serum, and it was so effective, I'll gladly replace it ASAP. Niacinimide, in case you're wondering, is a super-charged skincare ingredient. It smoothes out the texture of your skin and shrinks pores, it repairs sun damage and fights breakouts while soothing inflammation and minimizing redness. And if you want a simple shot of niacinamide added to your routine, The Dewy Dudes told me this is a great place to start and now I can officially say from experience that I agree. You can use this as a serum or just add a drop or two to your daily moisturizer. I usually applied it to freshly washed skin in the morning—after my toner and then applied by regular SPF on top. Within two weeks, I could notice a change in my skin. And you really can't beat the price and quality of The Ordinary's products—especially one that will deliver noticeably smaller pores and smoother skin for about six bucks.

You know, the whole reason for starting my own label was to just do what i wanted to do.

And i hope that resonates with some folks.

It doesnt have to resonate with everyone.

But it does have to resonate with me.
