There's something about the start of fall and new shoes, right? But here's the thing, the newest coolest sneakers you can wear today are really from 20 years ago. At least.

The Coolest Sneakers Are Re-Issues

Fashion is cyclical. We know this to be true. And while the early aughts don't feel all that far off, it's enough time for designers to circle back around and mine for inspiration. Of course, the '90s continue to be a reference for Fall 2024—just look at the resurgence of baggy jeans, wide-leg cords and quarter-zip sweatshirts. Pair them with some wrap-around shades and the boxy sneakers and mesh-covered runners synonymous with that late '90s/Y2K aesthetic.

These retro sneakers, with their relaxed dad-adjacent vibes, have been catching fire for a while now, but the latest round feels a bit sportier. There's a genuine performance component to them, which—even if you're just wearing for your daily commute to the office or walking around the farmers market on the weekend—makes them a whole lot more comfortable and supportive. The proportions of the shoes actually pair perfectly with the wider cuts of today's pants and the freaked out designs complement a bold cardigan or slouchy sweatshirt. In short, don't sweat it. Just enjoy the cushy feels and the compliments that are sure to roll in.

What’s an affordable (as in drugstore) shaving cream that’s good for sensitive skin?

- Joe

For your money, you can't find a better drugstore shave cream than “Therapeutic Shave Gel” ($4.25), which—like many Aveeno products—is formulated with natural oatmeal and Vitamin E to help hydrate and protect skin against razor bumps and burn while providing a close, smooth shave with less irritation. The gel lathers up for a slippery, lubricated shave so there's no irritation after you rinse off. And since there aren't any fragrances used, it's extremely mild and perfect for sensitive skin.

Grab yourself a piece of menswear history and look damn good while doing it. This limited-edition collection from Wrangler features the last remaining denim yardage from Cone Denim's legendary White Oak plant—America's last remaining selvedge denim mill, which shuttered in 2017. Like Wrangler itself, the plant was located in Greensboro, NC, or 'Jeansboro' as denim heads call it. This raw denim jacket ($264.99) comes with the signature contrast stitching, a pleated front with flat rivets, a full-zip closure, two angled lower pockets, and copper hardware.
