Chris Pine on the Runway

Chris Pine
Chris Pine

I think it’s no secret that the majority of celebrities dress horribly, but Chris Pine’s recent kit attending Zegna's spring/summer 2024 fashion show is a masterclass in less is more. From the well-kept hair to the high-waisted pleated trousers—this was hands down one of my favorite celebrity outfits of the summer season.

The styling sister team of Wendi and Nicole dresses a handful of A-listers, and Chris Pine is one of them. In previous sightings, the duo has dressed him in brands like Ami and Giuliva Heritage, both of which I’ve pulled below to recreate the look. The beige shirt complements his skin tone well, and this one is 100% wool, which is surprisingly airy yet an excellent transitional piece for fall. The green pants have exaggerated pleats that appear to go down to the ankle hem and look particularly great with his tassel loafers. Since the outfit is more reserved, I liked that he reached for the tassels and not the plain Janes. What pulls a simple look together are smart accessories and his were on another level. Starting with a pair of updated aviator shades to a luxe beaded bracelet and a Rat Pack-esque pinky ring—what can’t this man not wear? For the watch, he’s rocking a vintage 1950s Baume & Mercier, which GQ credits to be one of the brand’s signature watches since its inception in 1830. Whether you're going overseas for a vacation or a dinner date to your local restaurant, there are several ideas for outfit inspiration to pull from here.
