Was this week as long for you as it was for me? If so, it’s time to treat yourself. A little retail therapy never hurt anyone … especially when you can score some interesting items on the cheap, right?

Efe Efeturi’s Transitional Weather Kit
British menswear enthusiast and filmmaker Efe Efeturi put together this killer fit for a recent chilly day and I think it’s a great example of what to wear as we move from the harsh days of winter into spring. As Efeturi says, “I feel colors are the attributes of alterations, helping you see life or expression and emotions as you want to … there’s no reason to style dull all the time when the weather does that.”
Start with a lightweight turtleneck tee and then pull on a textured overshirt—ideally in a bold shade to brighten up the overall look. If you want to really turn it up, hang a scarf with an exotic print around your neck and let it hang low and loose. Finish the look with some relaxed wide-leg jeans and a pair of loafers with a hefty sole. Not only will the layers keep you warm, but you’ll be prepared to shed some if the sun starts warming things up.
Clockwise, from top left:
Blanket overshirt, $330 / $165 by Percival
Corduroy cap, $52 by Armor Lux
Cotton turtleneck T-shirt, $49.95 / $34.99 by Gap
Wool silk scarf, $425 by Drake’s
Wide-leg selvedge jean, $390 by Blackhorse Lane Ateliers
Baüscia loafer, $360 by Velasca

Much of the past couple of years, the frustrations were about trying to form a dial that didn't have any alien particles in it.”
