The Ultimate Travel Pillow
Here’s the thing about most travel pillows—you know the ones that are like squishy neck braces—they’re just not comfortable. They basically hold your head up aloft, and who sleeps like that? A few years ago, I booked a Transatlantic red-eye to London from Los Angeles. I needed to sleep, and somehow found this bizarre-looking travel pillow from TravelRest ($29.95) right before my trip. It worked like a charm and I’ve used it countless times since then. Shaped like an inflatable hockey stick, the velvety pillow gives you something to lean against and even something to wrap your arms around. Think of it as your emotional support spooning device.
The two ends are attached to an adjustable strap that can be secured to your seat and worn over your body like a sash, to keep the pillow in place. I wear it like a messenger bag, so it stays close to the body and allows me to pull it off and switch sides when needed. What’s more, this is a pillow that you can even use in the middle seat and it will prevent you from slumping onto your neighbor. Unlike those collar pillows, it keeps your head from falling forward. The ergonomic shape provides full lateral support for your upper body, which means you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.Since it’s inflatable, when you land you simply squeeze out the air, roll it up and attach it to the handle of your luggage. It packs away so neatly, I’ve been able to hold onto this one pillow for about eight years and have never lost it once. And speaking of inflating the pillow, I’d suggest not blowing it up to capacity—I’ve found it’s more comfortable when you have some give to let your head sink into it. But that’s the beauty of inflation … customize it to your own comfort level. Is it the sexiest pillow on the market? Definitely not. But has it allowed me to sleep in all sorts of seats of various sizes and comfort levels? Absolutely. - Cory Ohlendorf
Drops to Watch For
Schott NYC and 3Sixteen are teaming up again on a luxe leather trucker jacket for their seventh collaboration. The jacket is made of soft black pebble grain goatskin leather and has a unique finish—in the shade, it appears matte but then shows some shine and added texture under direct sunlight. Handcrafted in Schott's New Jersey union factory, this trucker jacket is heavy-duty and will look even better once it's patinaed.

New Balance and JJJJound are introducing the 991 Made in U.K. sneaker as part of their ongoing partnership. The shoe was first released in 2001, and was a high-performance sneaker with a contemporary look. In keeping with the era’s preference for visible technology, this pair offers a sophisticated and adaptable take on this tech-driven, ABZORB cushioned silhouette, as a classic mesh upper is overlaid with luxurious suede and outfitted with an earth-toned palette.

The rebrand includes a motif that Lee exhumed from deep in the Burberry archives: the “Equestrian Knight Design,” which was the winning entry of a public competition to design a new logo for the brand way back in 1901. (Burberry itself was founded in 1856.)”
