Billy Crystal’s style has been on menswear mood boards for the past few seasons. He’s become something of a patron saint of low-key fall style. GQ even celebrated the comedian’s legendary looks from the 1980s and ’90s. The guy has gotten fits off, both on the big screen and in real life. One of my favorite photos of Crystal is this Canadian tuxedo get-up he sported getting off a plane in 1994.So much to unpack from this style move. Denim on denim pretty much always works. It’s easier to do whenever the shades are slightly off, but Crystal leaned into the worn-in tonal look and absolutely killed it. The western-style belt (which has come back around with stylish guys), pulls the entire outfit together, proving that classic pieces like vintage denim, a simple T-shirt and canvas sneakers always look good.
Also, now that the holidays are around the corner, a head-to-toe jean kit will alleviate all your traveling woes. A denim shirt is the perfect weight to layer—keeps you warm on the plane ride and works well with a leather jacket or chunky cardigan over it as soon as you step foot outside the terminal. Plus, you probably already have most of these items in your wardrobe, right?

5 Stylish Items to Buy This Week
Want a holiday candle that doesn't smell like a “holiday candle”? This one ($68), from Los Angeles-based MAAPS, is based on one of their most popular incense scents. A complex blend of tobacco, sweet vanilla and charred oak bourbon barrels, it burns with the same balance, but in the soothing warm glow of a candle. And because the wick is wood, it also provides a gentle crackling sound like your own personal fireplace.
