Making the Case for …
A Game-Changing Undershirt
An undershirt is an undershirt, right? Wrong. Just like your underwear, there’s a world of difference between some run-of-the-mill style and one that’s truly been considered and crafted with quality materials. But I get why you might think that. I was the same way. Why invest in a good one, if it just stays under your top shirts and barely sees the light of day? But the closer a garment is to your skin, the more you should opt for the highest quality you can afford. And after wearing Hamilton + Hare’s undershirts, I can attest that there’s really something to be said for treating yourself.
First off, the shirt is knit from 100% soft, breathable cotton, but it’s constructed almost like performance wear. The design features a seamless body and is made with advanced construction that molds to your individual chest shape. The shirt skims the body and wraps your shoulders, but doesn’t feel clingy. The collar lays perfectly, layering under a sweater or button-down shirt and the built-in mesh side panels not only allow for extra ventilation, but I found the texture helps keep the shirt tucked in and from bunching up inside your other shirt.
The tee is incredibly light but substantial enough not to be see-through and it can even be worn on its own. Since it’s all cotton, the shirt is easy to wash over and over again. Which you’ll do, because you’ll want to wear it over and over. In fact, the brand says that customers loved them so much that they now sell them in five-packs (complete with a “bulk” discount). Stock up and you can save 15% off your purchase.
